Who we are

CheckRaise is a poker training app. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to support.checkraise@gmail.com.

What we collect

What we don't collect

CheckRaise has no adverts and no third-party analytics or tracking. On this website, hands are dealt by our poker server: it holds a table in memory only while you play (at most a few hours), isn't told who you are, and keeps no record of the hands. Hands are only stored if you save them to your account. We don't sell your information.

How we use it

Only to run the app: to sign you in, to keep your progress backed up and in sync across your devices, to show your rank and achievements, and to unlock Poker Pro.

Where it is stored

Account and progress data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which processes it on our behalf. Security rules mean only you can read or change your data. A copy is also kept in your browser so your progress is there without signing in. Purchases made on this website are processed by Stripe, which keeps its own payment records as required by law.

Notifications

This website doesn't send notifications. In the iPhone app, the daily spot reminder is scheduled on your phone and no notification data is sent to us.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account; this permanently removes your account and all progress stored with it. You can also reset your rating and stats without deleting your account. A record of any website purchase is kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, or to object to how it is used. Most of this you can do in the app; for anything else, email support.checkraise@gmail.com.

Children

CheckRaise is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
