Agreement
By using CheckRaise you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. If you use the iPhone app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
What CheckRaise is
CheckRaise is an educational tool for studying poker strategy. It does not offer real-money gambling, and no money can be won or lost in the app. Ratings, charts and grades are training aids based on models and approximations; they are not guarantees of results at any table.
Age
You must be 18 or over to use CheckRaise.
Your account
An account is optional. Without one you can play, and your progress is kept in this browser only, so it is lost if you clear your browser's data. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen.
Poker Pro
Poker Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-off lifetime purchase. Prices are shown before you buy.
- On this website, payment is taken by Stripe when you confirm the purchase. Poker Pro bought here belongs to your CheckRaise account, and also unlocks the iPhone app when you sign in with that account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Account → Manage, or, if the website isn't working, at the Stripe billing login (enter the email you paid with), or by emailing support.checkraise@gmail.com. Cancelling stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Poker Pro starts as soon as you buy it. By buying, you agree to it starting straight away and acknowledge that you then lose the 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase. This does not affect your rights if something is faulty: email support.checkraise@gmail.com and we'll put it right or refund you.
- Poker Pro bought in the iPhone app is charged to your Apple Account, managed in your Apple Account settings, and refunded by Apple under its policies.
- A lifetime purchase gives access to Poker Pro features for as long as they are offered.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no attempting to break its security, reverse-engineer it, interfere with other users, or use it to break the law or the rules of any card room or site you play on.
Content
The app, its charts, text and design belong to CheckRaise. You may use them for your own personal study.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or remove features over time. If we make significant changes to these terms we will let you know in the app.
Liability
CheckRaise is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the app, including any poker losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
